Clayton is forthe People
Clayton is running for Congress for us — no dark money, no backroom deals. Just neighbors organizing for a better future.
Clayton Harbison is running for Congress to fight for the future of Missouri's 8th District.
This campaign is for every neighbor who believes that politics should serve people — not corporations. That our government can, and must, be a tool for dignity, fairness, and a better tomorrow.

Meet Clayton
Clayton Christopher Harbison is a lifelong resident of the Arcadia Valley, a husband, father, and community advocate running for Congress in Missouri's 8th District. He's not a career politician — he's a neighbor answering a call.
Clayton’s journey into politics began years ago, working behind the scenes. But he walked away disillusioned — seeing more harm than good. Today, with a family of his own and a future to fight for, he’s returning to politics — this time, in his own name, and for the right reasons.
His daughter Jeanette changed everything. What once were passing concerns became deep convictions — about healthcare access, economic fairness, clean water, strong schools, and a future worth staying for. Clayton is running to build that future.
He believes in:
Getting big money out of politics
Restore real checks and balances. Put people ahead of corporations.
Supporting working families
Mental health access, strong rural healthcare, and a fair shot for every neighbor.
Upgrading what connects us
Roads, bridges, and broadband that make life possible across our region.
Preparing for the future of work
Plan for AI — protect jobs and create new pathways in MO-8.
Clayton knows that everything — from the water we drink to the cost of gas to the shape of our towns — is touched by politics. And it's time our politics started working for us.
The People of the 8th District

A campaign rooted in community
Clayton is hitting the road to meet every neighbor and listen to every story he can across the 8th District — from Poplar Bluff to Perryville, from Farmington to Kennett.
He won’t be walking alone. This campaign is part of a larger movement of Missourians rising to take back power from lobbyists and corporations — and return it to the people.
